Mdundo to Speak on Artists/Managers and Music Services in the Streaming Age at NY:LON Connect

Mdundo has taken the lead as one of Africa's best Music Service; to strenghthen African music content and artist management. In it's recognition, Mdundo has been selected to speak at the 2019. NY:LON Connect. The conference, organised by Music Ally and Music Biz; is aimed at providing an essential forum for debate concerning music business. 

Martin Nielsen, Mdundo CEO will be discussing 'Artists/Managers and Streaming Services in The Streaming Age.' In an era where artists can now manage their own content like register and upload their music on streaming apps; what will the impact of the shift be and how prepared are artist managers? What is the manager's perspective on new key industry players such as labels, distributors and general service providers.

'At Mdundo we've experienced an increasing attention globally in the recent years. The continent is growing fast and we are very pleased to attend this panel and shed some light on how this effect the music industry and how to accelerate the growth further.' Says Martin. 

Top on the agenda in 2019 is choosing to look at  Africa's dynamic music scene as streaming services and artist management organisations are fast sprouting. This has not been priority in the former years but the shift is quick and  inevitably catching up in Africa. 

Mdundo will be presenting alongside other key speakers as Ibukun Aibee Abidoye, General Manager at Chocolate City Group, Lawrence Onuorah, 2nd Vice President Artiste Managers Association in Nigeria (AMAN), Virginie Berger; Founding Partner DBTH Capital, a new VC Fund focused on entertainment and music tech, Paul Brindley CEO at Music Ally just to mention a few. 

NY:LON Connect 2019 will be held in London on 22nd and 23rd January, 2019.
