UGANDA: Fans Congratulate Eddy Kenzo For Scooping New Tourism Deal

They say Ugandans don’t support each other and sometimes try to put down those who have achieved but this is not the case with Eddy Kenzo’s fans.

The singer’s fans treated the news that he had been appointed the new tourism ambassador for Uganda with a lot of excitement and joy shortly before they flooded the BET award winner with congratulatory messages.

Fans from all walks of life identified with Kenzo has he marked a big milestone of his career as the official ambassador for tourism in Uganda.

Musana Faisal said; ‘The struggle has been real my brother, this is how far we are!! Holding the most beautiful flag so high is the sky!! This is something that was supposed to be done already by the government way back in 2014 because since then u’ve been having a very big percentage of tourists who come here!! Thousands have toured Uganda following your name! Keep the great unique music that sells Uganda to world!! Ur music is Uganda’s music identity worldwide!! God bless the hustle…we gat your back.’

Wacha Abel said; ‘Am very happy for you my best Performing Ugandan artiste. Daily I look at you as a role model and u continuously remind me that Smart work and patience pays.’

‘It’s a very big shame though for Uganda as a country mostly our leaders who head different directorates like UWA, NEMA the list continues. These big guys only enjoy A/C in their cars and big SUVS but forget to promote / Market the different sectors they head. How many national parks do we have??? Many with very poor infrastructure. Something must be done. The young generation should wake up rise and shake change for a better UGANDA,’ he added.

Kenzo’s new gig comes hot on the heels of a similar deal that he had in Kenya where he was charged with promoting tourism in the popular tourist destination for many international visitors.

While announcing the new appointment, Uganda wildlife through their Twitter handle said that it was an exciting moment for them to announce Kenzo as their new representative. They also noted that Kenzo will unleash to the world Uganda’s unique wildlife and promote Uganda’s tourism destinations.

An ecstatic Kenzo then revealed that he is going to do his best to make sure that he sales Uganda to the world. He said; ‘I will work hand in hand with all the different tourism departments to promote our country and it’s tourism attractions.’
