KENYA: Omarion Wows Many With His Maasai Dance

American singer, songwriter, rapper, actor and dancer Omarion was in Kenya for the Afro Pop festival this past weekend. Omarion did not only give an electric performance at the Ngong racecourse waterfront, but also got a chance to see and experience the beautiful Kenyan culture.

What attracted the Distance hit maker was the Maasai culture. A group of maasai men dressed him up in their traditional regalia, and encouraged him to dance along with the Morans, something that wowed everyone.

He took to social media to write;

“Getting Crowned at the gate! It’s still so amazing to me that people embrace me as one of their own wherever I go. I will forever appreciate these moments!!! Kenya was a blast!! Thank you to ALL!! Until next time!!”

From the video, it is evident enough that this singer is a lover of good culture not to mention the kind of good reception he got. Omari Ishmael Grandberry, his real name, also got a chance to interact with his Kenyan fans and I must say his female fans were more than glad to take those selfies with him.

The 32-year-old gave the impression that even international acts are filled with love for the African culture.
