UGANDA: Chameleone To Headline Africa Day Celebrations In Ethiopia

Local musician Jose Chameleone has landed a huge gig in Ethiopia.

The “Wale Wale” star has been unveiled as one of the headlining acts at the Africa Day celebrations in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa at Ghion Hotel.

Dubbed “African Music & Cultural Exchange Festival,” Chameleone will perform alongside top artistes on the continent including Nigeria’s Patoraking, South Africa’s Mafikizolo and Zimbabwe’s Oliver Mtukudzi among others.

Chameleone has expressed excitement about the 2-day event which will kick off on Saturday, May 27.

Africa Day, formerly African Freedom Day and African Liberation Day, is the annual commemoration of the foundation of the Organisation of African Unity in 1963.
