UGANDA:HHT Featuring Keko's Music Journey

Jocelyne Tracey famously known as Keko rose to the music industry in 2010 with her song “fallen heroes” alongside Don MC, SP,Davis and the mwaba children choir.

She was born on the 3^rd of June to a Japadhola parents from Tororo she started out as a radio Dj on 94.8 X fm.

Her break through single was “How we do it” which also featured on MTV Africa which also led to an endorsement deal with Pepsi and saw her lead Mountain Dew’s Advertising campaign in E.A.

She has collaborated with lots of Ugandan big artists like Juliana Kanyomozi, Angela Katatumba and she has performed all over Africa from the annual Selam Festive in Ethopia alongside handpicked international artists from around the world to 2015 Namibian Music Awards in Swakopmund.

With her wide success led to invitations to join the cream of the crop of African artists to perform at the Channel O awards in South Africa,East African music awards in the Nairobi, Amahoro stadium in Kigali Rwanda and on numerous occasions at the Big Brother Africa evictions and finale in South Africa all stand out performances.

Was guest judge role for Nokia don’t break the beat a popular hip hop talent search show in East Africa. Her follow up to “how we do it” entitled ‘Alwoo(cry for help) which addressed issues of domestic violence,struggle,success and triumph which are common talking points all over Africa.

Despite having a successful music career Keko has also taken time and has been part of a charity foundation that is mainly focusing on helping people especially the youth who are suffering for drug problems and with this Noble cause she hopes that she will help most of the youth to better their lives and make their futures better.
