HARON SIMIYU (SIMHAD HSS)

Haron Simiyu, popularly known as Simhad HSS, is a Kenyan educator, technology innovator, software developer and entrepreneur from Nandingwa Village, Bumula Sub-County, Bungoma County. Born on 1st September 2006, he developed an early passion for mathematics, science, computers and problem-solving.

He is the Founder & CEO of Navstar Digital Hub, a technology-focused venture dedicated to digital services, education technology, software development, innovation and digital transformation.

Haron holds a B.Ed. Science (Mathematics & Physics) background from Alupe University and has trained in ICT areas including web design, software development, networking, cybersecurity and AI.

His professional experience includes teaching, ICT training, graphic design, website development, system development, software development, research, computer technology and digital consultancy.

The loss of his father, the late Moses Simiyu Moya, on 24th July 2023, became a major turning point in his life. Through faith, family, community support and determination, Haron continued his education and transformed the experience into motivation to build a meaningful future.

Today, his vision is to use education and technology to create practical solutions, empower people and inspire the next generation of innovators.
