Ever since Sauti Sol released their daring yet palatable ‘Nishike’ video, more and more Kenyan artists have embraced the art of making videos that go beyond that imaginary line of social norms; Freedom and bravery is what I like to call it, while others prefer the term ‘crazy’ but the difference between the two sometimes is very slim.
Welcome to Rajayjay’s world where crazy, bravery and freedom are all one and the same thing! His new video ‘Pombe Bangi’ is an attestment to this.

First things first, with a such a song title you shouldn’t expect sunshine, flowers and unicorns. Visuals courtesy of Library Box Films, 'Pombe Bangi' revolves around one crazy party with guys and voluptuous ladies all gone wild. Nothing more, nothing less.
Like I said, this is one daring video and I highly doubt it will see the light of day when it comes to most Kenyan television stations, but the video quality is one reason you should watch it, plus the fact that this song is one catchy piece that will leave you with a compulsive need to always sing it aloud even when the song has long ended.
