Kendrick Lamar didn’t come to play when he dropped a bomb in the hip-hop world with his latest diss track to Drake, "Not Like Us," and if you thought he’ll end it at that wait till you see the video. Produced by Mustard, Not Like Us has a groovy, laid-back vibe that will have you nodding your head and singing along before you even realize it. Kendrick does justice to the beat with solid bars and wordplay that is on another level. As is typical of his signature style he creates a song packed with many references and double entendres that require multiple listens to catch them. With the visuals, the listener is treated to some cameo appearances from Top Dawg Entertainment artists and Mustard the producer. The real kicker however is Kendrick's family, vibing to his own track which is a direct clap back to Drake's previous claims about trouble in Kendrick's personal life. If you don’t know by now, Not Like Us proves why Kendrick is considered one of the greatest to ever do it as he basically dismantled Drake's entire career ending the war.
