My G (Review)

Kizz Daniel has released the new music video for his song My G finally giving a piece of his mind to his haters. On this project the singer collaborated with Nigerian video director TG Omori and influencer, Enioluwa to achieve the story he set out to tell with this video.

My G is the second song from the artist’s Maverick Album that was released earlier this year. Starting off with an orchestral sound gives a rich feel to the tune which is in line with the video concept.

The video showcases an exuberant lifestyle portrayed by the vixen which could be the artist’s symbolic way of communicating that he’s has more money compared to some of Nigeria’s popular artists. Through his penmanship, Kizz Daniel chooses get personal and address the rumors about his craft such as being underrated and not making money and also addressing the hate he gets from those who rubbish his talent. “My G omo dey your own” is how Kizz Daniel tells off his haters by simply telling them to mind their own business.
