She may not have been legally or customary been sworn in as Queen but the amount of work she puts in allows her to wear that crown without any eye squinting from the crowd: Victoria Kimani is who I‘m talking about and the occasion is her nomination as the Best Female in the forthcoming Mdundo Music Awards!

In this category she has three entries, with her songs ‘Whoa’, ‘Prokoto’ and her most recent ‘Show’. All three were massive hits of their time and with her clever plot of colluding with only the best in the game, she has secured herself a spot on the hall of fame as the first Kenyan female to do it better than some of the music male acts!
