Davido Named 2021 Most Shazamed Artist in Nigeria

Multiple award-winning Nigerian singer Davido has been named the most Shazamed artist in Nigeria for the year 2021. This basically means that of all the Nigerian artists, many music lovers in the West African entertainment powerhouse searched and found Davido's songs the most using Shazam.

Davido achieves this feat despite releasing only one single "Champion Sound" this year.  The first half of 2021 saw Davido focus more on releasing music videos for singles off his third studio album 'A Better Time' released in 2020.

His solo project for the year came recently when teamed up with Focalistic for the Amapiano hit 'Champion Sound'.

Davido has however been featured in a number of music projects this year, among them is Teni's debut album 'Wondaland' in the single 'For You', Liya's debut EP 'Alari' where he featured on the track 'Lakiriboto' and on Tion Wayne's 'Who's True'.
