Despite backlash and criticism, Pallaso was able to raise 5.4M UGX.  He donated UGX 1 million to Oscar Byg Tym who is unwell.

He topped up the remaining cash to UGX 7.5M and donated it to the Ghetto Kids in appreciation for their good work.

"I had raised only UGX 5.4 million and topped it up with UGX 3.1M from my pockets and decided to appreciate the people I love the most. They have represented Uganda and I'm their biggest fan," Pallaso said during an interview with Bukedde TV.
