DMW boss, Davido has reiterated his commitment to making sure that his ₦250 Million Donation to orphanages across the country actually reaches them.

It’s not news that funds meant for charity are often diverted for personal and selfish needs and Davido is making sure that will not be the case this time. The FIA singer who raised ₦200 million from friends, colleagues and fans a few days ago prior to his birthday shocked Nigerians when he decided to donate all the money and an additional ₦50 million to orphanages across the country.

Responding to a Twitter user who expressed concerns on whether this kind gesture would actually serve the purpose, Davido said he’ll personally make sure it doesn’t happen. 

“I will personally make sure this doesn't occur !! I put that on my life !”, he tweeted in response.
