Gravity Omutujju ‘Kigula Lujji’: New Music Uganda

Ugandan Luga flow artist Gravity Omutujju has dropped a new hit dubbed 'Kigula Lujji'.

In 'Kigula Lujji' (a Luganda traditional saying loosely translated to mean 'an introduction'), Gravity Omutujju sings about the current situation happening in the country. He focuses on the lockdown, doctors who allegedly ignored patients without money, closed schools and the plight of teachers among others.

He likens the current situation in the country and across the world to what is expected when Jesus returns to Earth.

The title of the song is derived from the saying of strong opposition blogger Lumbuye whose arrest and alleged extradition is currently trending in the country.

The audio was produced by Eno Beats, while the video is expected soon.  Last year, as several musicians released corona sensitization songs, Gravity Omutujju vowed not to release a song on the deadly pandemic.

Speaking during an interview back then, the luga flow rapper said he will not allow himself to be swept by the wave.

While he has addressed the pandemic in his attest release, Gravity used a different approach where he focused on the effects and current situation in the country amidst Covid-19.
