Renowned Kenyan songbird Nikita Kering has dropped her highly anticipated EP dubbed ‘A Side of Me’. The six-track EP features a compilation of some of Nikita’s previous hit songs as well as new songs.

‘A Side of Me’ EP is introduced by an Intro track dubbed ‘Forget’ which sets the tone for the rest of the emotional EP, through a harmonious humming. The rest of the jams include; ‘Where You Been’, ‘Ex’, ‘Never Let You Go’, ‘Crossing Lines, and ‘Better Than Ever’.

Taking to Instagram to celebrate the new milestone, Nikita thanked her team for putting in the hours to create this masterpiece, and also thanked her fans, listeners, and supporters for listening to her music.

“I'm so grateful for my team. I can't begin to describe the hours each of them spent in making the masterpieces we did, she wrote, “and to my fans, listeners and anyone who supports my music, without you, this wouldn’t make any sense.”

So far, Nikita has already released four music videos for the EP, with each video employing a different creative style. Her latest video for ‘Ex’ which premiered earlier this month has been doing well and is currently trending at number twelve on YouTube with over 497,000 views in just a short amount of time.

‘Ex’ is a heart-wrenching jam about love, in which Nikita describes a person who craves true love, and is willing to compromise and settle in the unfulfilling relationship in order to avoid going through a breakup.

The EP is available for streaming on YouTube and other digital platforms.
