Ghanaian songwriter, singer, and producer Akwaboah Jnr has disclosed the inspiration behind his recently released single song ‘Ensesa’.

Speaking during an interview with NY DJ on Y102.5FM’s Ryse N Shyne, Akwaboah said that he got his inspiration from the way people refer to him as a ‘ladies’ man’ based on the kind of music he does. He further explained that the song is just a simple love story.

“But the main reason behind it is the fact that sometimes, people come from work and their spouse might meet them with a fight or misunderstanding. So the song is just to caution couples on what to do when they’re back from work”.

He went on to explain that the song also acts as a guide on the things that partners are expected to do when they get home to ensure peace is maintained in their homes.

The ‘Posti Me’ hitmaker said that the difference in the quality of sound of his new song is him being a wild listener. “I’m a wide listener and I don’t only listen to Ghanaian songs so this time around, I wanted something that will be a bit different from the norm and what I’m known for and I believe this sound is perfect and best fits what I wanted”.

He also said that the main goal behind him making his new song different was solely for the fans to listen and enjoy something slightly different from his usual type of music.
