Zuchu Opens up on Lessons Learnt & Sacrifices Made on her Journey to Success

Tanzanian singer Zuchu has revealed that ever since she joined Wasafi, her life has changed drastically, adding that she’s had to make several sacrifices including losing some friends along the way, just to ensure that she focuses fully on her music.

In an Instagram post, Zuchu said that fame has a price to pay and for her, it was losing close friends who have now turned out to be strangers.

“One Of the biggest Lessons I’ve learnt from my journey is that the bigger you Grow the fake people Around you become. Fame has a price and in most cases is losing people .People u possibly thought u knew or trusted become strangers in no time Wow .But hey its called real life,” said Zuchu. (Sic).

Zuchu joined the music industry in April last year as the latest WCB signee. The singer has enjoyed massive success to emerge as one of Africa’s top female musicians at the moment.

Her catalog entails collaborations with acts like Diamond Platnumz, Ryvanny, Mbosso and Nigeria’s Joe Boy.

In Tanzania, Zuchu currently holds several records with the most recent being the first female musician to have over 30 million views on a single video. She hit this milestone thanks to her ‘Sukari’ hit.
