WCB Manager Explains Why Diamond Chose to Record His Album in South Africa

One of Wasafi records managers Mkubwa Fella has explained why Diamond Platnumz opted to record his album in South Africa instead of Tanzania, noting that some of the artistes set to feature on the project were unable to travel to Tanzania.

Speaking during a recent interview, Fella noted that Tanzania and South Africa are brothers, and Diamond pitching tent in the country should not be an issue. He notes that Diamond is promoting the ideals of the late President John Magufuli of having one Africa.

Fella added that South Africa offers Diamond the perfect opportunity to interact with the international markets as the country has more options.

“Sisi na South Africa ni ndugu…Nasibu kwenda kule aenda kwao. Kuna watu wametoka nchi zingine wameenda kule na hawawezi kuja huku juu ya corona. Hii album akaona atie mkono wake nje,” said Mkubwa Fella.

Diamond and his team are currently in South Africa working on the album set to be released later this year.

The album is being hyped as one of the biggest projects in Africa this year. Diamond is yet to share the release date, track list and artists featured on the project.
