I AM ABANDONING THE SINGLE LIFE TOWARDS MARRIAGE
My story is very simple.
I lived a long time with my parents, from day care to the moment I started working.
I met my wife in mid-May 2014, in the city of Tete, Mozambique.
At that time, I had just arrived from the city of Beira and I was still looking for a safe job.
In the first phase, I worked at a company subcontracted by Electricidade de Moçambique, but as the contract was for six months and was already ending, someone in good faith ended up employing me in a training, teaching and learning institution of "the practice of know how to do".
It was at this company that I met my wife, because she was a student at that institution.
It is not advisable for a teacher, trainer or instructor to date a student, but my case was different.
Throughout her training course, in Installing Electricity, we were just friends.
And when her training ended, our friendship became stronger and we started dating.
She invited me to attend her church, she showed me her family and vice versa, and lately we had an open relationship.
As time went on, love started to warm up and we wanted privacy.
And so it happened on January 13, 2020.
It was the day I started living alone in a rental house.
So my girlfriend or wife came to visit me more frequently every weekend with permission from her family.
On the 13th of June there was a presentation ceremony at my wife's family home, at 5 pm.
I was there with my uncles and we were welcomed with her whole family for the talks.
On July 31, 2020 there was another ceremony at my wife's family home, at 5 pm.
At the ceremony my uncles and I brought clothes to dress my wife and prepare to take her to my home, but we had to follow certain family rules.
It was only on August 15, 2020 that my wife's family brought my wife to my parents' house for an official delivery.
To this day, we live together and are preparing for the official wedding of the Registries and the Church.
