Over the past week, Konde Worldwide boss Harmonize has been a subject of debate after he urged Bongo musicians to abandon Swahili lyrics in their music in favour of English.

According to Harmonize, using English will give bongo musicians more reach globally. However, Harmonize's hypothesis is disputable since we have some Swahili bongo songs that have done well internationally.
