Jovial Drops New ‘Chechemea’ Video

Renowned Kenyan artist Jovial has released a new jam dubbed ‘Chechemea’.

‘Chechemea’ is a Swahili word that translates to limping or the inability to walk around. In this context, ‘Chechemea’ is a love song about love that deeply correlates with the upcoming Valentine’s Day.

In the opening verse, Jovial notes that she has a crush on her partner and loves his cologne. She also adds that she has faith and trust in him a hundred percent.

The visuals which were directed by dolls also open up with Jovial in a beautiful shop with the male video vixen and they really tell the story as she sings to him.

In the second part of the jam, she sings that every time she looks at him, she wonders where she got stuck in the way and adds that there is no way that she will leave him because he has hypnotized her.

‘Chechemea’ was produced by Ilhaji and super-producer Vicky Pon Dis. ‘Chechemea’ has received so much love from fans who expressed their love by viewing, liking, and commenting on the video.

Under the comment section one YouTube user named Jovial as one of the most underrated female musicians with other fans replying to that comment in support.

‘Chechemea’ is currently doing well on YouTube with over 2,800 views in just a few hours.
