The prestigious event will be hosted this month (February, 2021) in Uganda for the first time in the country’s history.

Despite many Ugandan netizens pushing for the event to be canceled due to political reasons, the Klear Kut rapper believes it is a good idea to embrace the opportunity.

"You can never say that this is a wrong time because it was just the perfect time for these awards to come to Uganda. They have been pushing it for two years so the deal was already concluded. They will be broadcasted worldwide and this is huge," Navio said on NBS KURT.
