Ugandan singer, vocalist and guitarist Aziz Azion has responded to music critics that have referred to him as a faded artist.

Ten years ago, Aziz Azion was one of the best RnB artists in the Ugandan music industry. He commanded a huge fan base and attracted massive numbers during his shows across the country.

However, over the past few years, he has not been doing so well musically. Currently, Aziz doesn't have many hit singles rotating on music charts.

Explaining the rationale behind this, Aziz noted that he believes people don't give music too much time as there are many artists releasing new songs each day.

"I have many songs plus it is not easy for an artist to survive for eleven years in this music industry. As time goes by, things change.

"By then, fans used to give music a lot of time and listen which doesn't happen anymore. But that does not mean I shouldn’t release my music. The only difference with me, I don't release my songs on pressure like everyone else. I can't handle dropping songs every month," Aziz Azion told Spark TV.

In his prime time, Aziz Azion released songs like Nkumira Omukwano, Wampisa, Oxygen, Yegwe, Beera Nange, Kankutijise, Burning and Beautiful among others.
