Pushed by the many questions floating in the air from his fans, Tom explained that he has not ditched music. He said that his first career as a health care provider has kept him off the studio especially in these COVID-19 times when his services are in high demand.

The ‘KomezaUtsinde’ hit maker also said that being a family man has complicated this equation in ways he did not expect before. However, he holds that he is not just about to quit music even with his busy schedule.

“Let them not worry because I am still a musician despite having other responsibilities. I have been juggling music with books, family and my professional job for years, and nothing can change me from recording music because it’s all about good planning,” he told KT Press.

In mid-December 2020, he landed a plum job as the Director of the National Center for Blood Transfusion (NCBT) under Rwanda Biomedical Center. Prior to his appointment, he had been working as the Director of Regional Center for Blood Transfusion (RCBT) Kigali. He urged his fans to hold still as he is a part of them by virtue of being an artiste which is a big part of his life.

Tom started his career in 2008 when he released his debut album named “Kuki”. Between 2008 and 2013, he recorded four more albums. In his five albums, he has featured big East African artistes such as Radio and Weasel and America’s Sean Kingston.
