Koffi Olomide Duped by Fake Video of Alikiba Dancing to Diamond's ‘Waah’ Song

Congo’s Lingala maestro Koffi Olomide over the weekend fell victim to fake news after sharing a video of Tanzanian singer Alikiba.
In the video shared by Koffi, Alikiba can be seen dancing with Diamond’s ‘Waah’ featuring Koffi Olomide playing in the background.
The video left many shocked considering that Diamond and Alikiba are known nemesis in the bongo music scene.
However, it has emerged that the video is fake, as it was doctored from the original version shared by Kiba.
In the original video, Alikiba can be seen dancing to his alleged upcoming song which was recently recorded in South Africa.

The video was then doctored to remove the original audio and replace it with Diamond’s ‘Waah’.
It is not clear if Koffi shared the video with an understanding that it was a fake. Fans quickly reacted to the video seeking more information to determine the truth behind it.
For years, Diamond and Alikiba have had an alleged feud that has mostly been fuelled by the media and fans on who is the king of bongo music.
The ‘Waah’ video is now arguably the biggest bongo song of the year after hitting over 10 million views on YouTube in one week.
