WCB singer Zuchu has set the record straight on having a collaboration with Nigeria’s Rema.

Over the last two months, reports have emerged indicating that Zuchu recorded a new song with Rema. This is after Rema was spotted in the studio alongside Diamond.

The Nigerian singer was in Tanzania for a series of shows. However, speaking during a recent interview, Zuchu stated that she had not recorded any music with Rema.

The ‘Cheche’ singer noted that she would be delighted to work with the Nigerian, whose status across the country is rising.

“Apana sina kazi na Rema, I would love to have one...lakini niko na kazi na Joeboy,” said Zuchu.

Zuchu has a song with Nigeria’s Joe Boy. The recording was done while Joe Boy was in Tanzania at the same with Rema.

The collaboration with Joe Boy was Zuchu’s first with an artist outside Tanzania. At the same time, Zuchu revealed that she has plans to perform globally next year.

The singer noted that despite the coronavirus pandemic, promoters were still booking her for shows.
