Nandy Explains Why Her ‘Nibakishie’ Hit with Alikiba Didn’t Feature Video Vixens

Tanzania singer Nandy has given some of the intrigues behind her latest music video 'Nibakishie' featuring Alikiba.

The video has attracted a lot of attention due to the raunchy and intimate scenes it features.

Notably, the ‘Nibakishie’ video only has Nandy and Alikiba as the vixens.

Speaking during a recent interview, Nandy explained why they resolved not to hire professional models to be vixens.

“Tulikuwa tunataka video ikuwe tofauti kidogo...tulikuwa tunataka sisi sana kuliko congregation ya watu wengi,” said Nandy.

The video features a scene where both Nandy and Alikiba are singing while taking a shower, and the 'Njiwa' singer notes it was her most challenging take.

Questions have been asked on why the two featured on the video considering they are in a stable relationship with their respective partners.

Alikiba is currently married, while Nandy is engaged to rapper Billnass. Nandy clarified that before the video shoot, both partners were notified of the concept, and there was no issue. She also confirmed that Billnass was on location during the shoot.

During the interview, she also dismissed reports that Alikiba's wife Amina was angry at her for taking part in the video, adding that both parties were okay.

The video released three days ago has hit over one million views on YouTube.
