Sarkodie and Samini Trend after Endorsing ‘4More4Nana’

The Ghanaian celebrities, rapper Sarkodie and dancehall artiste Samini are now trending on various different social media platforms after endorsing the candidature of president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. This has gone viral especially on twitter platforms

The two top musicians in Ghana have both released songs in soliciting support for the ruling New Party and President Akufo-Ado. One of the songs with a title of ‘Happy Days’’, that features Kuami Eugene and Sarkodie says that the president has implemented some great policies that are of good benefits to all Ghanaians. Sarkodie gave an example of ‘Free SHS policy’.
“We all spoke against the dumsor (erratic power supply) and the high inflation rate and so if these have been solved at the moment with Ghanaians also enjoying free SHS, then all I can say is that Nana Akufo-Addo should continue for another four years,” he said in the song.

On the other hand, Samini used his song titled ‘Kpoyaka’ song to endorse the president by talking of the achievements of the rulling New Patriotic Party. “Nana show boy is number one on the ballot. Nana continues with the work because you have delivered,” Samini said in the song.
This expression of these two top Ghanaian artistes, Sarkodie and Samini has caused some mixing reactions on social media as some are dragging them for picking sides while others are promising their loyalty to the ruling party.
