Kings Music boss Alikiba has announced that the label has no intentions to sign more musicians at the moment, despite some of its prominent signees ditching the label sometime back.

Speaking during an interview on Friday, Kiba stated that his main goal is to change the current label members' lives.

The 'Dodo' hit maker believes that having more musicians on a label does not translate to success. He noted that he aims to leave a legacy.

“Kuwa na wasanii wengi kwa label si ukubwa. Huwa siangali ukubwa from that angle. Mimi nataka kuwacha legacy,” said Alikiba.

Alikiba further called out several musicians for attempting to destroy the past system of releasing new music after a long period.

He noted that the idea of dropping new music regularly does not have a marketing value in the long run.

He further added that he plans to collaborate with Kenyan singer Otile Brown and some other hip hop musicians he didn't mention.

The singer is currently riding high with his 'Mediocre' single as his third song of the year.

Early this year, Kiba dropped the 'Dodo' and 'So Hot' singles. He broke his long time tradition of releasing new music after an extended period.
