On Wednesday, Kings Music boss Alikiba for the first time shared a stage with Diamond Platnumz after dropping his ‘Mediocre’ single.

The song released last week on Thursday was met with controversy after Alikiba appeared to be taking a dig at Diamond Platnumz.

In the song, Alikiba talked about some musicians achieving success in the US and allowing it to get into their heads.

Notably, Diamond has been making inroads in the US collaborating with several musicians.

His latest project was a feature on the Alicia Keys’ hit single dubbes ‘Wasted Energy’ off her ‘Alicia’ album.

Alikiba also appeared to diss Konde Worldwide’s Harmonize. On Wednesday, the two musicians shared the stage for the first time in Mbeya during a presidential campaign rally.

It is not clear if both artists met behind the stage but their sets were almost at the same time.

The song has caused a storm and is likely to escalate the alleged beef between the musicians.

The beef that was mostly propagated by the media and fans appeared to be squashed by President John Maguifuli a couple of weeks ago when he asked the two to bury the hatchet.

At the start of his campaign rally, Magufuli united Alikiba, Diamond, and Harmonize urging them to work together since they are young people.
