Renowned king of dance hall music Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. popularly known by his stage name as Shatta Wale has been able to achieve a greater feat yet again, as he has been featured in a national Creative Arts Textbook which has been approved by Ghana Education Service-GES.

His recognition has now come to the level, where the award winning artiste will be studied by Ghanaian students in the Ghanaian classrooms. This has been the greatest achievement ever been achieved by any artiste in the Ghanaian music industry.

Specifically, the highly appreciated dancehall artiste has been featured in the fourth lesson of the textbook where he has been described in a short biography. The book is published by Alpha and Omega series for Primary 4 pupils.

The ‘Already’ hitmaker featuring the great American songstress Beyonce will have his biography, details about his music career before and currently in his fame are all well captured in the textbook.

The details captured in the book goes as far as asking pupils to actively participate by singing and dancing to any of Shatta Wale’s popular songs as a practical lesson to be marked by a teacher.

It is no wonder that Shatta Wale has been able to raise the music standards of Ghanaian music. He has also been constantly moving from Grace to more Grace. He has been labeled the most hardworking and celebrated musicians in the Ghana Music Industry
