Konde Worldwide singer Ibraah has expressed his thoughts on comparisons with Wasafi's Zuchu.

When the two musicians were introduced by their respective labels, fans compared them leading to a speculated rivalry.

However, speaking during a recent interview, Ibraah stated that he cannot be compared to Zuchu because they are two different musicians.

On whether she views Zuchu as a competition, Ibraah pointed out that despite being bongo musicians, their line of art is different.

“Ibraah anaanglia nafasi yake kama mtu mwengine ataangalia nafasi yake mtu mwengine. Hatuwezi fanana,” said Ibraah.

Ibraah revealed that he listens to Zuchu’s music as a way of supporting Tanzanian music.

He acknowledged that Zuchu is a talented musician. Ibraah joined the industry by dropping his EP dubbed ‘Steps’ that featured Nigeria’s Joe Boy.

On the other hand, Zuchu also joined the industry with the ‘I am Zuchu’ EP. The EP has performed well across Africa with the singer receiving accolades from veteran musicians like Patoranking.

Ibraah was unveiled as the first musician under the Konde Worldwide label. The label has now added Killy, Cheed, Country Boy, and Nigeria’s Skales.

Harmonize launched the label after parting ways with the Wasafi Classic label that mentored and natured his career.
