Have you been liking the way Yemi Alade acts in her various music videos?
Were you impressed with her acting skills in previous movies she has appeared in?
Well, you will soon be watching the Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter on your screens, not in her music videos but in a movie.
In a post on her Facebook page on Monday, Yemi Alade confirmed that she will be part of the actors in the OMO GHETTO (The Saga) movie.
"You thought we were done with the Gengs??????? No!!!! Say what’s up to Mogambo and her Geng; Eruku and Jericho in OMO GHETTO (The Saga)," read part of her post.
Reports indicate that Yemi Alade will be appearing in the Funke Akindele-led movie as Mogambo, a gang leader.
The movie will also see street-hop music star Slimcase and actor Itele d Icon featured as Eruku and Jerhico.
Other popular names in the OMO GHETTO (The Saga) movie expected to be released soon include Yemi Alade’s 2014 record setting Johnny music video led Alex Ekubo, Eniola Badmus, Chioma Akpotha, AY The Comedian amongst others.
It will not be the first time that the multiple award-winning singer will be appearing in a movie.
In 2019, Yemi Alade was part of the Clarence Peters directed 'Home (The Movie) where she played the role of Nneka.
She was also part of Beyonce's 'Black is King' movie that was released this year.
