Award-winning Kenyan musician Bahati has dropped anew gospel song dubbed ‘Naanza Tena’.

‘Naanza Tena’ which loosely translates to ‘I’m Starting Again’ is a prayer Bahati offers to the Lord requesting Him to walk with him through his music journey as he starts again.

Shot in a remote area, the video show Bahati going through difficulty, and truly portrays him as a guy who needs divine intervention.

According to Bahati, he composed the song when he was going through a tough time in his life.

“Guys, this is a Song I did not write, I literally prayed I was going through a tough time with fights left, right and centre and instead of explaining myself to the Public... I sang my heart out to Jehovah!!! This Living God who truly knows the Heart of a Man. I am Humbled that #NAANZATENA is Blessing Your Souls,” he posted on Instagram.

Barely a day after it premiered, the video is doing really well online with over 170,000 views on YouTube, an indication that it is set to be a massive tune.

Before releasing ‘Naanza Tena’, Bahati had dropped three secular songs; Wanani, Wanani remix and Missing You causing speculation that he had ditched the gospel music industry.
