Renowned Tanzanian rapper Rosa Ree has finally dropped visuals for her song ‘Kanyor Aleng’.

‘Kanyor Aleng’ is a Maasai phrase that loosely translates to ‘I Love You’. In the new release, Rosa Ree expresses love to her family and specifically her mother for taking care of her.

“I’m trying to find the right words to address you by, is this a love song or a lullaby, tears all over my face and I don’t know why, am I happy am I sad am I happy tell me why am crying, without you I’m on a road but don’t know where to go….” the song’s lyrics read in part.

Despite some sections of the song being in Maasai, it is still on point and very appealing due to the amazing beats.

Listening to the first part of the new jam, one may confuse Rosa Ree for one of the top American female rappers due to her maturity in rapping.

‘Kanyor Aleng’ is proof that Rosa Ree is one of the best female rappers in the East African region.

In this jam, she has shown us that she is dynamic and can try new stuff without much struggle.

Barely a day after it premiered, the video is doing really well and has over 13,000 views on YouTube.
