Last week, Nigerian artiste DJ Cuppy dropped a new song dubbed ‘Jollof on the Jet’ featuring Rema and Tanzanian music star Rayvanny.
The video has elicited a lot of reactions online with music lovers participating in the challenge and creating viral covers of the new jam.
The #JollofOnTheJet challenge has since gone viral with Rayvanny and DJ Cuppy sharing some of the top videos from the challenge.

Meanwhile, Rayvanny recently hit a new milestone in his career becoming the first East African musician to feature on the cover of Apple Music.
Through his Instagram account, he announced that he had made it to the cover of ‘Africa Now’ music chart on Apple Music.
“Nimekua msanii wa kwanza East africa kutokea kwenye Cover ya Playlist Kubwa Barani Africa - 'Africa Now'. Unaweza sikiliza wimbo wangu #Amaboko unaoshika namba 1 kwasasa pamoja na nyimbo za wasanii wengine wakubwa Africa kwenye @applemusic #AppleMusic #AfricaNow,” posted Rayvanny.
He achieved the fete thanks to his hit single Amaboko featuring Diamond Platnumz.
Generally, the achievement gives Rayvanny more exposure across the African continent considering that the ‘Africa Now’ is now among the biggest music charting platforms across the continent.
