Ethic’s #StagaChallenge Goes Viral, Takesover Tiktok [Videos]

Last week, Kenya’s top gengetone music group Ethic dropped a new video dubbed ‘Staga Niki Medi’.
‘Staga Niki Medi’ is a feel good song that advocates for having a good time, despite the current corona virus pandemic.
One of the standout features in the video is the fact that there are no explicit scenes; an indication that Ethic learned from the previous backlash they faced.
‘Staga Niki Medi’ is one of the songs in Ethic’s recently released album dubbed ‘Big Man Bado Odinare’.

The video has been well done; showcasing a group of young guys dancing to the amazing beat, and unleashing new dance styles, that have led to the #StagaChallenge.
The challenge has gone viral on TikTok and Instagram, with many music lover creating videos jamming to the hit.
On TikTok, the #StagaChallenge was trending at number one over the weekend, an indication that it has been well received by fans.
In a bid to appreciate their fans and motivate others to join the challenge, Ethic posted the best videos on their Instagram page, with some of the top ones being from Nick Mutuma, Homeboyz radio crew and a number of couples.
