Sauti Sol’s ‘Midnight Train’ Album Sets New Record in Kenya

Award-winning Kenyan boy band Sauti Sol is currently flying high with their new 13-song album dubbed the ‘Midnight Train’.
Thanks to the album released on June 5, 2020, Sauti Sol was able to set a new record in the country, becoming the first Kenyan musicians to have all their 13 songs trending on Apple music.
Speaking during an exclusive interview with Jalango, the group noted that no Kenyan has ever achieved the fete, adding that before their album was released, no Kenyan song has made it to the top 20 on the platform.
“Kuna record tumebreak which I think mafans wanafaa kujua. On Apple music when released the album, the 13 tracks zilikuwa one to 13 zote zinatrend na hakuna ngoma ya Kenya ishawai fika ata number 20,” the group said.

The album has 13 songs, and as promised, it is on point, and has a wide range of songs covering different genres, and topical issues in society.
The 13 songs in the album include; Intro, Midnight Train, Insecure, Feel my love, Brighter Days, Suzanna, Disco Matanga, Wake Up, Nenda Lote, My Everything, Sober,Rhumba Japani and Set me Free.
