Nubian Li Eulogises George Floyd in New Song 'I Can't Breathe'

Ugandan artiste Nubian Li has added his voice to the millions of people across the globe, who are mourning the death of George Floyd, who died after being assaulted by a police officer in Minneapolis, America.

Nubian Li infuses Floyd's last words in this smooth moving acapella performance together with his guitar.

"Help, please, I can't breathe. Please, my neck hurts, my stomach hurts. Please I can't breathe. Let's love one another, respect one another, guide one another, and support each other. Treat me just like you would wish to be treated," Nubian Li sung his heart out, also encouraging people in high power never to use their positions to mistreat those below them.

Nubian Li's song becomes part of many tributes amid the spreading protests in the United States of America, following Floyd’s death in police custody, after a Minneapolis police officer was videotaped putting his knee on Floyd's neck as he begged him to stop.

George Floyd was a 46-year-old an unarmed black man, a father of two children, and a former member of Houston's screwed Up Click in the '90s.

The four officers involved in the incident were fired on Tuesday and the FBI is in the midst of an investigation into the incident.
