Sheebah’s Online Concert Elicits Mixed Reactions

Ugandan artiste Sheebah Karungi last week announced that she would be holding an online concert in partnership with Africell Uganda.

This was a very big deal considering the fact that the Team No Sleep diva holds an amazing position in the Ugandan music industry.

Since there are no public gatherings and concerts, her fans had missed her performances, and so an online concert would be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be able to see her during this quarantine period.

The concert happened on Saturday, May 15th and fans were tuned in on the Africell Facebook page, ready to catch their icon perform.

A section of fans felt she did well and applauded her for the performance, while another group felt that she did not deliver as expected.

This group was particularly disappointed because Sheebah had A CD playing while she performed at the concert.

The fans who were watching flooded the comment section with their concerns.

This is not the first time Sheebah has been accused of ‘under-performing’, last year, her nemesis, dancehall sensation Cindy Sanyu claimed she was very poor at live performances.

While some music lover may not be happy with her recent performance, her die hard supporters believe that she is one of the best performers in the country.
