DJ Big N Enlists Teni, Don Jazzy In New Love Song ‘Ife’

Multiple award-winning Nigerian hip-hop deejay, DJ Big N has started his 2020 in a bang after dropping a new song.

The new song titled ‘Ife’ was released on Friday, May 15.

‘Ife’ a Yoruba word translated to ‘Love’ in English sees the Marvin Records deejay enlist award-winning singer Teni and Marvin Records boss Don Jazzy.

The new song is basically a love song whose beats beautifully blend Rhythm and Blues (R&B) and hip hop genres bringing out a nice tune.

In ‘Ife’, whose lyrics has a mix of Yoruba and English, the trio open out their heart to the love of their lives.

“Omo gbagbe oo, nobody fit to love you like I do, mi o ba e shere o, nobody fit to come close to you, oh e, take me shalaye, the way you make me fee and you know I won’t lie to you, Ife y kpo, Ife yi kpoju,” read one of the verses delivered by Teni.

The new song produced by Don Jazzy samples singer All for One’s track titled ‘I Swear’ in its chorus also delivered by Teni.

“Look into my eyes, shey you see the stars? This one no be lie, this one no be lamba, no go fall my hand, no go leave me hanging, standing in the rain, I will be waiting for you,” read part of the chorus lyrics.

‘Ife’ is DJ Big N’s first song for this year.

So far only audio has been uploaded on music streaming and sharing platforms.
