“I have a song with Maua Sama but we cannot release it because I was to travel to Tanzania for the video shoot but the restrictions have forced us to reschedule the shoot… the audio is complete but awaiting the video. It is a big project and I expect it to be the biggest song in East Africa,” said Mukami.

During the interview, Mukami took the time to acknowledge Maua Sama’s music skills.

A couple of Tanzanian musicians like Diamond and Mbosso have come out to reveal that they have lost money due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Musicians were forced to cancel shows as governments banned large gatherings of people as a means of curbing the spread.

Speaking during an interview on Sunday, Mbosso revealed that he has lost about Tsh100 million in canceled shows.

“I have lost about Tsh100 million due to the Coronavirus pandemic. We had canceled bookings meaning I could not perform during shows,” he said.
