For the better part of the week, Tanzanian rappers Wakazi and Nikki Mbishi have topped local trends thanks to the beef between them.

The two have been involved in heated exchange, with each claiming to be the best rapper in the country.

It all started when Nikki Mbishi last week had an interview at Wasafi FM, where he made remarks that angered Wakazi, triggering the exchange of words.

Responding to Nikki Mbishi, an angered Wakazi took to Instagram and put out a video of the former’s  diss- track from 2014, highlighting what he felt about Nikki’s bad habit of dissing people without a reply.

“NIKKI IS A SEAN PRICE WANNABEE" - Wakazi #ControlVerse Kabla ya Kuiba Style ya John Vigeti wa Kenya, Nikki alikuwa anaiba Style ya Sean Price (R.I.P) Naomba tuelewane kidogo. Hakuna Msanii anayemuogopa Nikki Mbishi. Nyie mashabiki maandazi wake inabidi mlitoe hilo kichwani. Mimi nilimchana Nikki kwa hiyo line (2014) akarudi na papara za wimbo wa 6 minutes ambapo akajibu kwa mistari ya kuungaunga isiyo na ukweli, Mara akamtaja Nay Wa Mitego, mara Yung Tuso, na mwishoni akawa ananichekesha tu. Hiyo diss yake ya "Where My Crown At" ilikuwa dhaifu kwa mimi kuijibu,” his post read in part.

He further said the fact that artistes do not respond to Nikki Mbishi’s diss tracks, does not mean that they fear him.
