Who are the members of Sailors Music Group?
The Sailors music group was founded in 2017 with three members namely; Miracle Baby, Qoqos Juma and Lexxy Yung. However, later that year; Shalkido and Masilver joined the group making it a team of five.
Sailors Major Breakthrough and Top Songs
The group has been around for a couple of years. However, their major breakthrough came in April 2019 thanks to hit song ‘Wamlambez’.
‘Wamlambez’ went viral across the country and the world, becoming an anthem among youth in Kenya. Following the hit, netizens started #WamlambezChallenge which propelled the song to greater heights.
The group has worked with a number of top artistes that include; Octopizzo, Nadia Mukami and Boondocks Gang.

Life before Fame
Before they became famous, members of the group were involved in different manual jobs in a bid to make ends meet.
In an interview with Anto Neosoul, Sailors’ lead vocalist Miracle Baby noted that before becoming famous, he was a mortuary attendant and a street boy.
“Nikiwa myoung nilikuwa chokosh halafu nikaanza kudu kwa mortuary Kuwaosha after that nikaanza kuuza mawe pale ndederu ndio maana mi nikipiga ngoma na energy sitaki kurudi huko walai Ni kubaya,” he said.
Miracle Baby noted that he also served as Kikuyu stand-up comedian. The other members of the group also noted that life before fame was tough. Masliver divulged that he did Mjengo. On his part, Qoqosjuma noted that he used to make hair and do comedy, while Shalqido was a tout.
Sailors’ Awards
Sailors had an amazing year in 2019, and the same was reflected by the awards and recognition they received later that year.
At the 2019 Pulse Music Video awards, Sailors bagged four awards out of the eleven available. The group won the Best Group of the year category thanks to their hit song ‘Pekejeng’. Sailors also won New Wave of the Year thanks to ‘Wainame’, Viewer’s Choice of the year thanks to ‘Wamlambez’, and lastly the Best Collaboration of the year thanks to their hit song ‘Wakiritho’ featuring Octopizzo.

Despite being celebrities, members of the group have managed to keep their relationship status private, and as such nothing much is known about their love life.
Sailors’ Net worth
The group has produced a number of top hits that have gone viral and got millions of views on YouTube. As such, Sailors has been earning well from their manager Mwalimu Rachael’s YouTube page; where most of their hits were posted.
