Demi Lovato had been away from the public eye for about one and a half years before her first public and unofficial return to the music scene at the beginning of the year at the Grammys and the Super bowl. She sat down with Bazaars USA for their May issue to talk music, acting and more.

She earlier this year released the first video off of her yet to be released album for the single ‘I Love Me’. Demi Lovato in this single gives us glimpses of her past life and everything she has been through in the public way in a very open and vulnerable way. She promises that her new album will be exactly that.

She explains that she stayed quiet after her overdose and watched/read the tabloids run wild with narratives about her and the whole situation. Demi Lovato explains that she is going to use the new album to set the record straight. She promises to be vulnerable, bold and very open about everything in the album.

After everything is clear, she is still open to the option of going on tour. She is however not sure that she will perform one of her singles (not disclosed). Demi Lovato explains that if you sing about a broken leg and you go on to break your leg you might never want to perform this song ever again.

We cannot wait to listen to the new Demi Lovato album. In the meantime, catch the rest of the interview on The Bazaars USA website.
