Mayorkun Celebrates Reaching 1 Million Followers on Twitter With a New Song 'Of Lagos'

Nigerian superstar Mayorkun is celebrating reaching another milestone in his high flying music career.

The award-winning Afro-pop singer has now joined a list of elites, in the music industry in Nigeria, after hitting one million followers on Twitter.

To celebrate this milestone, Mayorkun decided to release a new song dubbed 'Of Lagos'.

The new song comes as a surprise given that the singer also referred to Mayor of Lagos had on Friday, April 10, dropped a new project, a three-song 'Geng (The Remix EP)' in which he featured top artists in Nigeria, Africa, UK, and USA.

'Of Lagos' is a fusion of Afro-pop and hip hop produced by his label producer Fresh VDM.

"1 Million Twitter Followers! ‘Of Lay Lay Lay, Of Lagos’New Music out at midnight! Who’s staying up with me?" Mayorkun had posted on his social media pages on Sunday night.

With over a million followers on Twitter, Mayorkun now joins the likes of Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, 2Baba, Burna Boy, Rude Boy, D'banj who have millions of followers.

Only the audio for 'Of Lagos' has been released.
