Guardian Angel is quite consistent with making sure that he stays ministering to his fans. He over the weekend released a new single dubbed ‘Usinipite’ and it a coming together of everything Guardian Angel is, as a musician.

‘Usinipite’ is a song based off a prayer asking God to bless you and not pass you over (the Passover night when the angel was blessing the Israelite households).

Guardian Angel is a known worship leader and so ‘Usinipite’ is taken from the church worship song, “Yesu, Yesu, unisikize, ukizuru wengine, unikumbuke.”

Off of that worship song that Guardian Angel uses as his chorus, he managed to come up with a song layered over a dancehall beat. The beat is quite fast paced yet somehow Guardian Angel manages to sing out the chorus in a medium-pace and almost retains its slow element. He both raps and sings over this song in Swanglish. In this context, he brings out the Guardian Angel who is a reggae artist (as he first introduced himself to his fans).

The artwork used for the audio might be very telling of the video to expect; with a Guardian Angel in tattered clothes and on his knees in prayer and having found help. In the meantime we wait for the video as we vibe to the audio of ‘Usinipite’.
