Wasafi’s New Signing Zuchu Drops First Song ‘Wana’ [Video]

Just a day after she was unveiled, Wsafi’s new signing Zuchu has released a new track dubbed ‘Wana’.
‘Wana’ is all about a lady professing love to her man. She talks of how they fell in love at first sight.
It’s a song you’d want on repeat for a while as it describes what happens on a daily basis, when we meet people for the first time, and fall in love with them.
“Umri maji yakapita, mi kiguna ushafika,jina gani hujaniita baby, Chauru hutaki kabisa eti uniache na visa vya filauni na Musa vingi, Nikilala naota ni kama unaniita nafumba macho navuta shuka naona napumbazika….”reads parts of her lyrics.
The video is easy to watch as the concept was well executed with Zuchu and her male vixen being the only characters in the song.
Zuchu is clearly another star that will be around for a while. She is the daughter of renowned taarab star Khadija Kopa.
She possess talent that is so impeccable. Listening to Zuchu’s vocals, there is a feel of the smooth taarab sensation that makes you fall in love with her.
She was first unveiled by Wasafi’s boss Diamond Platinumz who had for a long time hinted of a new signee for the label after the exit of Konde Gang’s boss Harmonize.
The song was produced by Lizer Classic and directed by Kenny under Zoom Extra.
So far the video has over 17,000 views on YouTube, an indication that it is set to be a major hit.
