We love the sound of a couple of rap kings being in one track and that is what we are being served with by NAV & Gunna in their new track ‘Turks’ featuring Travis Scott.
We have watched Gunna and Travis Scott in the same single and they killed it. The addition of the Toronto rapper, NAV is brings in such a beautiful addition to this dynamic duo.
‘Turks’ is really a rap song that is just here to establish the braggadocio status that the trio are trying to be on; they talk about their wealth, their ability as rappers and their financial power as lovers.
The video is shot in the desert with all the colours and lighting camouflaging to fit that background. They have troupes, an army and all the army equipment and the drinks to spice up everything.
NAV introduces us to the song with a rich slow paced flow which then quickly switches up to a more fast-paced one at what acts as the song’s chorus. Gunna then steps in with the second verse and keeps up with the fast-paced flow. Travis Scott steps in last and keeps up with the fast-paced flow at first and quickly slows down towards the end of his verse.
