Davido’s fiancé Chioma has Coronavirus

Nigerian superstar Davido has revealed that his fiancé Chioma Rowland has tested positive for the highly infectious Coronavirus.
In a thread on Twitter and other social media pages, the American-Nigerian singer officially known as David Adedeji Adeleke, however, said he had tested negative together with their baby.
Davido has been in the United States and travelled back to Nigeria recently together after cancelling all his pre-planned tours and concerns over the pandemic.
His fiancé Chioma and son, on the other hand, travelled to Nigeria from London, United Kingdom.
“Hey everyone ! I came back recently from America after cancelling the tour. My fiancé Chioma also came back from London recently with our baby. We had no symptoms and still both feel perfectly fine but because of our recent travel history we decided to take ourselves and our all halves” Davido tweeted.
Both the US and UK are now among the most affected nations globally.
Despite testing positive for Coronavirus, Davido says Chioma is yet to show signs of the virus and is now quarantined.
The singer has on the other hand gone into a mandatory 14-day self-isolation.
“..close associates we’ve come in recent contact with for the COVID-19 test on the 25th of March. Unfortunately, my fiancé’s results came back positive while all 31 others tested have come back negative including our baby. We are however doing perfectly fine and she is even still...,” read one of Davido’s tweet.
“yet to show any symptoms whatsoever. She is now being quarantined and I have also gone into full self-isolation for the minimum 14 days. I want to use this opportunity to thank you all for your endless love and prayers in advance and to urge everyone to please stay at home…” he added.
